Normal book clubs give you a book and a deadline. You either finish it or you feel bad. Most people feel bad...
So we did something different.
Here, everyone shares the book they'd like the group to read. Like a game show, the top 3 share why they nominate that book. The room votes on the best pitch!
The best pitch wins a gift basket (chocolate, cozy things, or reader goodies...) everything you need for a perfect night in with a great book.
Then you can read as much or as little as you want. We meet twice a month.
Come to make friends. Come to find your next favorite story. Come and sit quietly in the back — that's allowed too. This is the book club built around the people first, and the nerds perform for goodies.

Here's exactly what happens every single month.

Week One
Live Game Show + Featured Author
Members nominate popular book titles in a live poll. Everyone votes.
The top 3 nominees pitches the room to pick their title. The room votes again for the winer. (Best pitch wins the gift basket!)
A featured author reads one of their chapters aloud, and the audience role-plays the character voices.

Week Two
Read at Your Own Pace
Now that the people have decided on the book of the month... you decide how much you want to read! A chapter. Half the book. The whole thing. Up to you.
No check-ins. No quizzes. Have fun.
No pressure · No deadline

Week Three
Featured Book Week
Everyone joins a social meetup with speed meetings.
Then members who read the book read the first chapter aloud together (maybe role-play the voices).
All are welcome!

3 Simple Rules
Epic fiction only
Fantasy, mythic fiction, big-world adventure. PG titles preferable. No adult content.
Plus, we never repeat titles.
No pitching your novel
Champions argue for someone else's story. Always. That's what makes the pitch fun!
Ages 16 to 165 welcome.
Nominate means you pitch
Submit a book and you're agreeing to stand up and pitch it. No backing out. Pitchers can win goodies!
