Contest Theme: Fairy Tales

Your short story submission must be between 1,500 to 3,000 words. All cultures and writing styles welcome! Original stories or retellings welcome.

Recommendation: avoid over-told fairy tales. If you choose to retell a popular fairytale, consider putting a new spin on it.

I was wondering if for my submission I could submit my own true and untold (Catholic) story of Cinderella?

You’re welcome to submit any fairy tale you like – per the entry guidelines, “If you choose to retell a popular fairytale, consider putting a new spin on it.”

A good question :) unfortunately, no, it’s not a poetry contest, but short stories. Entries should start at 1,500 words, to around 3,000.
