After reading this, I gathered all of my Shakespeare, Tolkien, Dickens, Orwell, and Homer…and threw them in the trash. I will never write again. What’s even the point when a literary masterpiece like this exists? Joe Campbell is truly the greatest philosopher of the twenty-first century, (maybe in history). His story about a shark’s existential crisis has helped me understand what it truly means to be human.

I love chainsaws. Sharks, maybe not so much. But seeing them stuck together in this story makes me realize that together, they are a rip-roaring, engine-revving awesome combination!
Never again will I question my puny little arms, or wish I had appendages other than those that God gave me from birth! Now I have learned a lesson taught by a shark: power tool cybernetic replacements are overrated.
Suggestion for a sequel: flamethrower T-rex? (or you could just do chainsaws again!)

YES!!! Flamethrower T-rex Cop – he’s taking a bite out of crime. Do it! Do it! Do it!

        Half flamethrower…half T-rex…all cop.
