BOOK: The Hungry Kitten’s Tale

It only takes five loaves of bread, two fish, one cat, and a kind stranger to make a miracle. In ‘The Hungry Kitten’s Tale,’ follow along with Kit, a hungry kitten looking for some yummy supper, as he goes on an adventure and finds a chance to make friends and be generous. Based on the miracle of the loaves and the fishes by the Sea of Galilee, this story allows children and adults alike to go deeper into Bible history and scripture. Enjoy scripture as it comes to life, imagine historical Bethsaida by the Sea of Galilee, and pay special attention to the cats, fisherman, and visitors in this seaside village – including a mysterious visitor named Jesus. ABOUT THE CATHOLIC AUTHOR SHOW
The show about Catholic fiction for ordinary, modern authors! We talk creed, craft, and co-creation, rooted in grit, grace, gods, and dragons. Let’s inspire your faith and your fiction!

(Used to be ‘Silhouettes of the Truth,’ now renamed in 2022 to the CatholicAuthor Show)

We’re inspired by the words of St Basil to see the silhouettes of the truth’ in secular literature. In crafting fiction, we are also haunted by and hunting these ‘silhouettes’ of truth, beauty, and goodness that are dimly seen through stories. Human beings and human stories are full of flaws and fascination. As authors, we are drawn to dramatize the realities of the spiritual, mystical, and mortal life.
